Old cars no entry to Delhi.only BS-VI cars are allowed to enter into Delhi.Over 12 lakhs vehicles will be prohibited entering the capital city.About 580 police will be deployed for checking vehicles,37 vans will be stationed at 126 checkpoints.Delhi has automatically number plates checking cameras at petrol pumps for identifying without PUC certified vehicles.GRAP(Graded Response Action Plan) is in force in the capital. Delhi Government implemented all these precautions because earlier studies found that such vehicles are responsible for maximum pollution in Delhi.
